By assisting with finding and furnishing living spaces, tutoring languages and local cultures, addressing food insecurity, or helping with transportation for medical, civic, and legal appointments, our staff and volunteers provide customized programming, one welcomed person at a time.
In partnership with Grace House, we provide meals on weekends and groceries for families in need. Through generous support and in-kind supplies from local businesses, community members, and our volunteers, we prepare more than 120 meals each weekend, and we provide both shelf-stable and fresh foods to more than 60 families.
We provide migrant support and endeavor to create a safe community where people can make a home to heal, settle, and thrive in the Greater Boston and MetroWest areas of Massachusetts. Together, we help people displaced by political conflict, social upheaval, or economic pressures to move from mere survival to stability, self-sufficiency, and eventually the capacity to help others. Often, this means that we support entire multi-generational households.
We provide opportunities for both formal and informal learning, from tutoring for school-age students to lessons for adults in languages, local cultures, and the skills necessary to navigate the wide variety of systems that families must interact with, as they work to build healthy and stable lives in what can often be a challenging and unfamiliar environment.
